PRADHAN MANTRI KRISHI SINCHAYEE YOJANA (PMKSY)-HAR KHET KO PANI (HKKP)

This Scheme was launched during 2015-16 with an aim to enhance physical access of water on farm and expand cultivable area under assured irrigation, improve on-farm water use efficiency, introduce sustainable water conservation practices.

  1. SURFACE MINOR IRRIGATION

                The Department is currently implementing 270 nos. of Surface Minor Irrigation Schemes under PMKSY-HKKP during 2018-19 with an estimated cost of ₹. 20685.21 Lakh to cover a CCA of 8544 Ha with an Irrigation Potential planned of 10508 Ha, against which Central Share amounting to ₹. 10843.90 Lakh and State matching share of ₹. 1204.88 Lakh has been received till date and an Irrigation Potential of 5847 Ha has been achieved till Sept’2022.

The Department is further going to implement 213 Nos. of Surface Minor Irrigation under PMKSY-HKKP with an estimated cost of ₹. 13320.94 lakh covering a CCA of 5444 Ha.Click here to see the details

  • GROUNDWATER IRRIGATION

During 2020-21, the Department has taken up 262 units of Groundwater Irrigation Schemes under PMKSY-HKKP(IC&GW) at an estimated cost of ₹. 1805.879 Lakh to cover CCA of 666.75 Ha against which Central Share amounting to ₹. 1560.00 Lakh and State matching share of ₹. 173.33 Lakh has been received till date. This Scheme is intended to address the small/marginal farmers covering an area of 2 Ha to 4 Ha through Ground water Irrigation. Click here to see the details

  • REPAIR, RENOVATION & RESORATION (RRR) OF WATER BODIES

The Department could not take up any projects till date as the earlier criteria for selection of the projects under this sub scheme states that only projects having not less than 5 Ha water spread area in urban and 2 Ha water spread area in rural will be taken up as per the Guidelines 2017. But with the recent modified Guidelines issued by the Ministry, the Department will identify the projects which are feasible and send proposal to the Ministry.
