This is a centrally sponsored scheme for construction of anti-erosion works, drainage and flood mitigation work’s that are critical in nature.The Department has taken up 14 Nos of projects at an estimated cost of Rs. 8675.241 Lakh with a funding pattern of 70:30 (CS/SS). These provided a total protection length of 30.66 Km.4 Nos of new projects with an outlay of Rs. 4148.629 Lakh with a funding pattern of 90:10 (CS/SS) under Flood Management Border Areas Programme (FMBAP) for providing anti-erosion works of 45.56 Km length for protection of road, building and agricultural land etc is under submission to MoWR for sanction and implementation during 2022-23. The scheme “GFMBAP” was framed be merging the components of two continuing XII Plan schemes titled “Flood Management Programme (FMP)” and “River Management Activities and Works related to Border Areas (RMBA)”.Click here to see the Status
