Study Tour under NHP

A Study Tour to State Data centre, Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply and Kalpasar, Gandhinagar, Gujarat under National Hydrology was conducted from 2nd Feb to 7th Feb, 2025 with 12 Officers and Staffs on board. The tour was conducted primarily for the study of State Water Informatic Centre (SWIC) of their State with the objective to enhance knowledge and insightful learning exchange so as to familiarize the officers and staffs of our State about the functioning and operation of SWIC. The officers of Gujarat gave presentations on i) Ground Water Resources activities ii) Reservoir Database Management System (RDMS) iii) GIS and GIS based activities iv) Dams Warning and Rainfall Dashboard their State. Also, site visit to Sant Sarovar Dam, Sabarmati River Front, Kankaria Lake and Automatic Weather Station was made for an insight of their implication to Water Resource Management Sector.
